Driving north up highway 400 going the speed limit of course, “Freddy” my silver chevy cavalier wound through the high standing rocks with the free standing inukshuks, markings from cottage travelers up north for the weekend. It’s nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of crowded toronto streets every once and awhile. Setting our radio to “The mouse”. Thomas watching me belt out the top 40 in amazement as if I was speaking a new language, as he still has a bit of catching up to do after two years on his mission without a radio. We visited the cottage lazed around the campfire. Roasted giant evenly golden marsh mellows. Jumped off the dock. Even had some time to explore downtown Parry Sound.
