The Long Bob // All about the Hair
Sunday, 4 October 2015
Sometimes we all need a change. It makes us feel free and alive. It was too much to take care of. I found myself trying to get all of the knots out at the back of my head with no luck at all. Now I can just brush through easily. I may go shorter. What do you guys think? Thank you Hannah for helping me out with these.

As we were walking down the street today we noticed that there were no construction workers on this site so we decided to take advantage of the opportunity, since we had a camera in hand and everything. It was a tad bit chilly but I'd say it was completely worth it.

All Bundled Up
Thursday, 22 January 2015
I'm sure that you've all got by now that first, it's insanely cold out, and secondly, we walk everywhere because we are poor students. So since we spend so much time with our mega cute outfits all covered up, we thought we would show you how to still look/feel fabulous in the dead of winter. First off, invest in a cute, warm, winter jacket. No matter how great you look in a coat, you will be absolutely miserable if it isn't warm enough. This is a purchase we feel is okay to splurge on since you will literally be wearing it pretty much every day for half of the year. When buying it, make sure that it isn't too flashy so that it goes with everything. Next, be sure that you have big pockets. Being stuck outside your building shuffling through your purse trying to find your keys sucks in the summer, and in the winter it's about 10x worse. It will keep your hands nice and toasty as well. Lastly, jazz up your look with fun, cozy accessories. Circle scarves are one of our favorites right now. Woollen headbands are super cute when rocking a topknot and plus your ears won't freeze! Stay warm!

Hats, Hats, Hats
Tuesday, 20 January 2015
In case you couldn't tell by the title, we LOVE hats. Having a bad hair day? Slap a hat on. Problem solved. Anyone living in Canada will tell you that a hat is not a want, but a need, especially with the weather we've been having lately. The beauty of having hats in style, is that you can wear them indoors as well, which means no one has to see your hat hair ever. You can also use them to add a pop of colour to your outfit, like how we styled Melanie in this post. This time of year it's so easy to get into the routine of sticking to drab, dark colours because we feel like Spring will never come, but you need to get out of that rut and brighten your day with a good slash of colour in your wardrobe! Have a favorite hat you've been rocking this season? Instagram it and tag us in the comment @honeyscoutblog

With Christmas money burning in our pockets, Emily and I headed out for a quick back-to-school shopping trip. Toronto is absolutely freezing this time of year so on the way back to Emily’s place we took refuge in this super cute café we found, Bicerin Espresso Bar (37 Baldwin St Toronto, ON). We were both so eager to start shooting this adorable new hat from H&M so Emily pulled out her camera and I asked the barista to make the cutest drink she can make. Right now we are obsessed with the flannels and boyfriend jeans look. The café was so cozy and even had fog on the window, which was perfect for this shoot. The girls working were super sweet and we would definitely recommend it for a cute date idea, a place to hang out with friends, or the perfect place to unwind with a good book! Let us know in the comments of your favorite cafés in town that we need to check out!
